Future-self identity cards

Define a trait you are growing into, the observable action that shows it, and a symbol or affirmation — on a card you can revise.

Steps

  1. Name a trait (e.g. patient, prepared).
  2. Describe one observable action.
  3. Attach a sigil or affirmation.
  4. Save, revise over time and share if you wish.

Background

Identity-based habit writers (e.g. James Clear, Atomic Habits, 2018) suggest linking habits to the kind of person you want to be. The card pairs each trait with a concrete behaviour so it stays practical.

Limitations

  • Cards describe your own chosen aims; the app makes no personality assessment or diagnosis.
