Lunar reflection calendar

Astronomically calculated moon phases in your time zone, with optional new-moon intention and full-moon reflection templates.

Steps

  1. Confirm your time zone.
  2. Browse the month's phases.
  3. Open a new-moon intention or full-moon reflection.
  4. Save entries and set an optional reminder.

Background

Phase times are computed with the astronomy-engine library (accurate to within minutes) and converted to your IANA time zone, so a full moon at 23:49 UTC correctly appears on the next day in India. Many cultures mark new and full moons; reflection templates here are optional practices. Indian tithi is a different calendar system and is not approximated by these Western phase labels.

Limitations

  • Astronomical calculation is not an astrological prediction.
