Planetary kamea sigils

Trace a path through one of the seven traditional planetary magic squares, using a documented letter mapping or numbers you choose.

Steps

  1. Choose a planetary square and review its sums.
  2. Choose a mapping or enter numbers.
  3. Review the number path and any reductions.
  4. Generate, restyle and save; export with the calculation trace.

Background

The seven planetary squares (Saturn 3×3 through Moon 9×9) are printed in Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa's De Occulta Philosophia (1533). Each contains every number 1…n² once, and every row, column and diagonal sums to 15, 34, 65, 111, 175, 260 or 369. The app validates each square on load. Historically, sigils were traced using Hebrew letter values; the app does not imitate that — it offers clearly labelled modern mappings instead.

Limitations

  • Planetary associations are historical esoteric correspondences, not astronomical or astrological predictions.
