Sankalp (resolution) ritual

A guided Hindi/English resolution: settle, state your aim, commit to a practical step and a date, and revisit it daily.

Steps

  1. Take a few settling breaths; add an optional personal salutation.
  2. State your goal in your own words.
  3. Add one practical commitment and a date.
  4. Save, print and revisit it daily.

Background

Saṅkalpa (संकल्प) — a formal resolve or intention — is part of many Indian religious and yogic practices. Traditional sankalpa formulas in rituals include details such as date and place; the app does not reproduce liturgical formulas. Templates here are ORIGINAL CONTEMPORARY wording, labelled as such; any traditional quotation added by editors carries its source.

Limitations

  • No birth details are required. This is a reflective commitment, not a religious rite performed on your behalf.
