Witch's Wheel sigil

Trace the letters of a word or phrase on a lettered wheel to create a connected line sigil with start and end marks.

Steps

  1. Choose or define a wheel layout.
  2. Enter a word or phrase.
  3. Review the traced node sequence.
  4. Optionally smooth the line (anchors stay fixed), then save and export.

Background

Letter wheels (sometimes called sigil wheels or witch's wheels) appear in many modern books and online sources, with different arrangements. The app offers two clearly labelled APP-DEFINED layouts — a single A–Z ring and a three-ring 6/8/12 layout — and lets you define your own. None is presented as a historical original.

Limitations

  • Wheel layouts are conventions, not authentic ancient diagrams. Only A–Z letters are traced; repeated consecutive letters are shown once and counted.
